I Think We All Need A Pep Talk

     Hello my lovelies!
I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday, whether you went to church this morning or did something else, I hope it was beneficial to you in some way shape or form!  Our alarm didn't go off this morning, so we went into panic mode and rushed out the door in time for worship!  It was definitely crazy.

But anyways, my topic today is going to be kind of on the broad spectrum of life, and not necessarily specific to any song or book or anything like that!  Since I've started college, it's slowly sinking in that I'm not a kid anymore, like I'm an adult and I live in the real world.  I'm not inside my elusive bubble of sanctuary under my parents.  My problems and situations are real.  Everything I'm going through I have to cope with, not hide in the comfort of my parent's wings.  I just don't want to grow up!

Look at that then say growing up isn't a challenge for us!  Truth be told, we've watched so many cartoons ( Mulan is on right now, actually,) that our minds are exploding with nostalgia.

Honestly though, should we ever grow up?  Like sure, we have to be serious SOMETIMES, like in the work place or handling situations, but why can't we retain our naivety?  Why does society like to impress all the strange new moral issues so early that it forces us to grow up?

I mean, we can still love VeggieTales, we can still take joy in the little things in life.  So, I guess the message today is, just because we're grownups doesn't mean we always have to grow up.  Live a little!  Love the small things.  Try to enjoy things from your child's eye, and I promise you, your days will be worth it. :)
